The Bristol DharmaMind Buddhist Group

Meets in Stoke Bishop (bus route 40) close to the Clifton Downs, for Buddhist Meditation and discussion every Thursday at 7 pm until 9 pm.
We gather at 7.30pm prompt and begin with a 40 minute meditation. This is followed by a session of Dharma discussion
where we discuss together issues relating to Dharma practice raised by a screening of a DVD, an audio recording or written material.
Cushions and mats are supplied. Experienced meditators and complete beginners are all welcome.
The DharmaMind group is led by Dharma Teacher David Smith who has over 35 years of experience.
The simplicity of this practice offers a path to stillness and a means to rediscover a spaciousness and freedom in our lives.

About the DharmaMind Group
We are a non-sectarian Western Mahayana Buddhist group and could be described as having a close resemblance to the Zen style of practice. Our students come from all over the UK and Ireland and where possible come together to practice on a weekly basis with their local group. Beyond the local meetings we also meet regularly to hold retreats in various centres throughout the year with our main central meetings being held monthly in Birmingham . For more information about who we are and information about our teacher David Smith please visit the group's main website.
